The Tim Spann Memorial Fund, in partnership with the International Museum of Human Rights, the United Nations Association of San Diego, Amnesty International Group 137 and the Anne Hoiberg Women's Center for Education, presents:

International Human Rights Day—An Evening with Human Rights Lawyer Bryan Stevenson in his TED Talk and on YouTube with Lester Holt

The talk is sponsored by both the local chapter of UNA-USA and the International Relations Program of Pomona College. The UNA Pomona Valley Chapter offers programs to the public as part of its continuing education and advocacy effort.

Bryan Stevenson has dedicated his life to ending the death penalty and providing legal representation to individuals who have been wrongfully convicted, unfairly sentenced, or subjected to prison abuse. In 1989, he established the Equal Justice Initiative and, in 2018, he and the EHI opened the doors to the Legacy Museum and the National Lynching Memorial. A movie about his life, “Just Mercy,” will open on Christmas Day.
