Mietek Boduszynski is a professor of Politics and International Relations at Pomona College. As a former diplomat, he witnessed US democracy promotion efforts at embassies around the world. In Egypt and Libya, he witnessed a historic democratic opening and the US response. Boduszynski’s latest book is US Democracy Promotion in the Arab World: Beyond Interest vs. Ideals.
