"Localizing the Global:
Cities and International
Women’s Rights"

with Heidi Nichols Haddad

Heidi Haddad, Associate Professor Politics and International Relations at Pomona College, will examine the growing phenomenon of local women’s rights initiatives, including US Cities and counties adopting laws to implement the UN Convention to Eliminate All forms of Discrimination Against Women. She teaches courses in international relations, human rights, NGOs, urban development and global governance.
