“The Climate Challenge”

United Nations Association of Pomona Valley
Sustainable Claremont
Blue Planet United
UNA of the Claremont Colleges
invite the public to attend:

"The Climate Challenge:
What can we do?"

A panel discussion with Richard Haskell, HMC Professor Emeritus; Stuart Wood, Director of Sustainable Claremont; Marilyn Scaff, Director of Blue Planet United, and student activists from the Claremont Colleges and Claremont High School.
Though the issues we face are daunting, this is a time to invite hope into our future. All around the world, communities, often inspired and led by young people, are taking action, sharing ideas, developing solutions, demanding more from governments and corporations, and bravely leaning into the wind. The next generation is taking action for their future, for justice and health, for economic security and sustainability, and for the right of all humans to inherit a stable home planet where one can seek joy, wonder, and wisdom from the great diversity of life that we share this home with. Join us for a lively and informative evening.
