Global population is expected to exceed 8 billion people by the end of 2022. Of that number, 33.8 million people live in food- insecure households and another 8.6 million adults live in households with very low food security. Both Covid and climate change have had a significant impact on the world’s ability to feed itself. Join us for a discussion of how the world is meeting this challenge on an international basis and how we, as Angelenos, are addressing this need. As we celebrate Thanksgiving, a holiday which focuses our attention on the abundance of food, this topic is especially timely and pertinent.
