Guest Speaker Sirwan Kajjo

Our speaker is Sirwan Kajjo, a Washington D.C. based journalist who works for the Voice of America where he covers Kurdish politics, refugee issues and conflict in the Middle East and beyond. Sirwan has written extensively on Syria and the Kurds and he is also the author of Nothing But Soot, a novel set in Syria.
