Embrace the diversity of Immigration in America as we learn about legal immigrant pathways as part of our United Nations Human Rights Day celebration. We will hear from a prominent immigration attorney and members of a student-led immigrant support organization in the San Fernando Valley.

Carl Shusterman
Former Immigration and
Naturalization Service Attorney
Immigration Lawyer Carl Shusterman has practiced
immigration law for over 40 years. Before entering
private practice, he served as a Trial Attorney for the
U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS).
Carl has been named one of the top 15 corporate
immigration attorneys in the U.S. by Human Resource
Executive magazine. And has testified before the U.S.
Senate Immigration Subcommittee as an expert
witness.

Stephanie Dinh
CLIP Co-Founder
Stephanie Dinh is a high school senior from Granada
Hills Charter High School. With a passion for global
engagement found in Model UN, she co-founded
Creating Legal Immigration Pathways to help
immigrants find the easiest pathway to citizenship.
From translating flyers into various languages to
perfecting a curriculum that guides migrants toward
naturalization, she’s worked tirelessly for the past year
to make immigration equitable.
