This participatory gathering is the third event hosted by dedicated volunteers from U.N. Association Chapters across the Western USA.
An unprecedented collaboration among local community organizers and sector leaders seeking to address the growing climate crisis in concert with the United Nations as an indispensable global partner in achieving a safe and sustainable world for all.
THIS FORUM
- Seeks to emphasize the urgency for timely localized actions and collaboration among local stakeholders, aiming to break down silos and scale up high-impact solutions.
- Aims to offer practical, effective takeaways that participants, their organizations, and partners ought to prioritize for action at the local, regional, and state levels.
- Mobilize for actions by individuals, local communities including businesses, and municipalities paired with imperative advocacy to affect decision-makers across sectors by transcending silos.

Designed for front-line leaders, activists, organizers, practitioners, and educators, the Forum will focus on five key strategic arenas for effective local climate action.
The United Nations Association of the USA (UNA-USA) is a movement of Americans dedicated to supporting the United Nations. With over 20,000 members (60% under the age of 26) and more than 200 chapters across the country, UNA-USA members are united in their commitment to global engagement and their belief that each of us can play a part in advancing the UN’s mission and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
