UNA-USA Leadership Summit in Washington, DC

It matters now more than ever that we make our voices heard to protect the vital work of the United Nations. With proposed bills in Congress aimed at either dramatically reducing US funding for the UN or withdrawing our country entirely from the global body, the UNA-USA community came together to fight for what we know is right: Standing with refugees; demanding equality for women; protecting LGBT rights; combatting climate change; working for peace; and more. Hosted at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC, from June 10-12, UNA-USA members from all over the country met with high-ranking U.S. Government and UN officials, global experts to gain invaluable tools to bring back home for chapter sustainability, and urge Congress to stand with the UN. Here are just a few of the incredible speakers that attended the Summit:
